Heavy metal vocalist Blaze Bayley played a special acoustic showcase on Saturday, January 10th in the surroundings of Castle Rock Studios, Alderley Edge, Cheshire, England. The performance marked the beginning of the 15th anniversary celebration of Blaze's acclaimed first post Iron Maiden album, Silicon Messiah. Video footage of Bayley, Chris Appleton and Luke Appleton performing the Maiden classic "Man On The Edge" at Castle Rock can be seen below.

Blaze was joined on acoustic guitar by Chris Appleton (of British metal band Absolva), who plays lead guitar in Blaze's full metal touring band for Europe, as well as Chris' brother Luke, who is the bassist with American metallers Iced Earth and has also previously played in Blaze's band.
