Napalm Death - Co-Headlining Tour With The Black Dahlia Murder
Napalm Death and The Black Dahlia Murder are joining forces on the Abysmal Predator USA tour. The upcoming tour de force is set to begin November 1st. The co-headliner tour also features Abnormality, Pig Destroyer, Misery Index, and Power Trip as support on select performances.
The Black Dahlia Murder comments: "It is our great pleasure to once again reunite with our long-time pals in Napalm Death; we really hit it off with them when we were just little tykes on our first-ever European tour so many years ago. To this day, Napalm remain a vital force in music and are some of my absolute heroes. It feels great to finally be able to announce this amazing line-up we've been brewing... Keeping a secret this good was killing me inside! All of the bands are absolutely killer and we couldn't be more proud to be considered a part of this elite. We'll see you this fall, bring your helmet!"

And of course they're nowhere near me. I'm okay to cool with Black Dahlia Murder, but their vocalist is a beast on stage, and Napalm Death would be a hell of a fucking show. I'll console myself by seeing Slayer, Anthrax, and Death Angel.

Written by 3rdWorld on 30.08.2016 at 21:25 Yeah, the godfathers of grindcore co-headlining with a band I'd describe generously as "Melodeath Lite?" seems a little odd, but it'd still be a hell of a show. Regardless of my musical opinions regarding BDM, by all accounts they are excellent live.

Black Dahlia Murder has a lot of fans who don't give a shit about Napalm Death, so it makes perfect sense for them to court those people, especially since their two forms of metal really aren't all that far removed in a general sense. BDM might have a heavy melodeath and deathcore influence, but they still sound like a death metal band more or less.
