Sabaton's new album The Last Stand has just been released last month. But the Swedes continue to share videos from it. At the moment, they are showcasing the song "Sparta", available for your listening pleasure on the lyric video below.

The Last Stand entered the Top 10 of the world charts at #6. This result shows that Sabaton are more successful globally than ever before (for example #1 in Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, #2 in Germany, Austria, Poland and many more).




The band comments: "The battle of Thermopylae is in many ways one of the most iconic last stands in history. King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans were certainly not as alone as portrayed in the famous movie 300, but in the end it was their sacrifice that would be remembered by the world to come. An amazing story of the Greek nation states which would rather die than lose their freedom."
