Wildernessking emerged in 2012 with their debut album, The Writing Of Gods In The Sand, (mastered by Magnus Lindberg of Cult Of Luna fame). The Cape Town quartet spent 2013 doing their first tour of South Africa and 2017 will see the release of a new LP, as the band will be touring for in the European summer, their first international tour.

As for Solbrud, the band began taking shape in mid-2009 as the three remnants of a short-lived thrash-punk band; brothers Troels and Tobias Hjorth and friend Adrian Utzon Dietz started out rehearsing in Ungdomshuset Dortheavej 61, located in the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

After about a year of sound and line-up experimentation, Solbrud found its missing fourth element in the form of vocalist and guitarist Ole Luk, whose Danish lyrics ‒ delivered exclusively as hoarse shrieks ‒ serves to complete the heathen and rebellious nature of the music.
