There is a new collaborative metal album being forged. Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta is producing the new Dee Snider record with the Twisted Sister vocalist. The album will reportedly also feature contributions from Howard Jones (Light The Torch, ex-Killswitch Engage), Mark Morton (Lamb Of God), Joel Grind and Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust) and Charlie Bellmore (Kingdom Of Sorrow), and is due out in the spring. Jamey Jasta posted on Instagram: "I'm fired up about this full on metal album we're producing @deesniderofficial_ ! People are gonna lose their minds when they hear this! I pitched the idea to Dee on my podcast and now it's becoming a reality. i did some co-writes w/ Nicky & Charlie as well as @joelgrind from @toxicholocaust_official also @markmortonofficial & Howard Jones have pitched in Riff & lyric ideas we are using on the album. Dee is one of the best vocalists of our time. His voice is up there with Ozzy, Dio, Dickinson & Halford to me, AND it's as powerful as ever! Although this album will be very heavy, the songs are anthemic and will fit well in his solo set w/ We're Not Gonna Take It, i Wanna Rock, Burn In Hell, We Are The Ones, So What and others. Can't wait for everyone to hear this! Stay tuned!"

Dee Snider said via Twitter: "Talk is cheap but action is rare. 'I woulda/coulda/shoulda' is all bullshit! @jameyjasta challenged me, I accepted his challenge and we are well on the way to a Spring album release! Songs written, demoed and recording process started! NO B.S.!"
