Flotsam And Jetsam - Streaming New Track

Prepare to hear some thrash metal, courtesy of Flotsam And Jetsam. Recently, they presented the new video for the single "Recover". The song will appear on The End Of Chaos, to be released by AFM Records on January 18th, 2019, the fourteenth album in their more than 30-year of band history.

"This album kills! It's all five guys with the gas pedal pushed to the floor for the entire album!" states drummer Ken Mary.

"It was cool to have a new element of influence on this album with having Ken's drum parts to partner with and play in and around his playing that also do with the guitars and vocals. Glad to have had Jacob Hansen bringing this album to the overall sound and energy it has, Jacob really highlights AK's vocal melodies, as well as Steve and Michael's songwriting, while the power of the rhythm section drives the songs." - bassist Michael Spencer.

Tracklist:

01. Prisoner Of Time

The mix is really nice this time. The song is alright, I suppose. Looking forward to hearing the rest.

The cover is a clear reference to their debut. If this album turns out to be even half as good as their debut, I'll be delighted. The first song is very promising.

Some bands become pussies and stop playing fast and soften, not Flots though.

There is an another song from the new album called 'Demolition Man', better song even IMO.

As Daniell said, it is a reference to their debut which was equally godawful (the artwork not the music of course).
"I may never recover from this" is a very apt line to describe the consequences of looking at this. Cool song though.
