Dirkschneider & The Old Gang - New Song Online, Single On The Way
Udo Dirkschneider has teamed up with two of his former Accept bandmates, bassist Peter Baltes and guitarist Stefan Kaufmann, his son Sven on drums, experienced guitarist Mathias Diethand and vocalist Manuela Markewitz, to form a new collective Dirkschneider & The Old Gang. The latter has already created a set of new tunes that will be released as a 3-piece single, Arising, on August 27, 2021 on AFM Records. The newly streaming song/video, ''Face Of A Stranger'', serves as a taste of what to expect from this upcoming music effort.

This is true accept. It has old accept vibes, not so heavy guitars as his solo or new accept. I enjoy this one.

"Arising" is a maxi-CD (single) not a full-length album. It will contain only three songs although the are working on more stuff.

I have a feeling the UDO side of this "feud" that has existed since Accept reunited back in 2009 is finally catching up in terms of quality and confidence. at the same time the latest Accept releases are... it pains me to say: ~n o t t h a t g o o d~

As much as I like Udo (in Accept and some UDO albums), this is underwhelming and I dare say much less interesting and engaging than the last Accept album. Very predictable and cliché.
