Kreator - To Release New Single Soon, New Album Due This Summer

Kreator frontman and guitarist Mille Petrozza announced on his Instagram page on New Year's Eve that their first album since 2017's Gods Of Violence is due for release this summer, and that the first single from the record will be out soon. The album was recorded last fall with producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy), and it will also be their first record with bassist Frédéric Leclercq, replacing Christian Giesler, who had been a member of Kreator for over 20 years by the time he left back the band in September 2019.

Mille wrote: "Ok 2021, you are almost history. It was good to play a couple of shows and record a new album. Overall, it was a killer year and I will hopefully see a lot of you in 2022. Album coming in the summer, new single SOON! Stay sane and safe and eat your vegetables. HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

I'm not usually a "faster and heavier automatically means better" kind of metalhead, but for these guys, I absolutely think that way. I got pretty bored with all of the mid-tempo stuff on the last album that was attempting to be melodic. Give us more tracks like "Totalitarian Terror" please.

Kreator were always about speed, so this is logical request. Most of 90's Kreator albums were mid-tempo most of the time and that wasn't it.
