Blind Guardian - Premiere New Single
September 2nd, 2022 will see Blind Guardian unleash their eleventh studio album, The God Machine. Today, the German power metal masters present a brand new single "The God Machine". The accompanying music video was directed by Dirk Behlau for Pixeleye Industries.
Hansi Kürsch about the new single: "We didn't want to rehash our qualities from 1995, but didn't want to continue down this complex path forever either. "The God Machine" is a new beginning for us. We’ve set a new course and gone back to certain things that we’ve neglected a bit on the last few albums."

The song is not bad, I have great expectations from the album. Nothing really new but they are back to the roots and this is already something. Now let's say something about the video... two worlds (of Dismemberian memory): Indecent & Obscene! Come on guys, you could have done better...the video really sucks!

To me it sounds more like Demons And Wizards than 1995 Blind Guardian, still OK with it though. ...And yes the video is awful

Really there are people expecting something from a metal videoclip?  This song is MAJESTIC! The old Blind Guardian, the speedy one, IS BACK!  Written by Bad English on 28.05.2022 at 11:34 He did want to focus in vocals only.

No man.... we were speaking recently 'bout nostalgia and stuff, they should get updated. Nostalgia is a trap, nothing is ever going to be the same. That "back to the raw roots" concept is outworn. We should live in present time. I'd personally like to hear some album based on the newest inflation rates in eu and gas prices in Germany with some epic symphonic parts.
