Arizona thrashers Atrophy have announced Nathan Montalvo as their new guitarist. In a Facebook comment, the band reveals that Montalvo has already tracked his parts for their long-awaited third album, which will be the first full-length from Atrophy since 1990's Violent By Nature, and it is tentatively due out later this year or next year on their new record label Massacre Records.

The band officially states: "We welcome our new guitar player, Nathan Montalvo. Nathan endorses ESP guitars, DiMarzio pickups, ISP technologies and will be delivering punishing solos for you all to enjoy."
