In a recent posting on social media, Arizona thrash metal legends Sacred Reich broke the news that they will soon head into the studio to record their long-awaited follow-up to 2019's Awakening for a late August 2025 release. The band also plans to tour behind the album throughout 2025 and 2026.

The band wrote: "Bring on 2025! We are headed into the studio to record a new record. We are planning for a late August release. We can't wait for you to hear it.

Lots of touring in the works with some killer bands. Looking forward to getting back out on the road in '25 & '26 after spending most of the last year working on new music. We hope you all have a killer New Years and we'll see you on tour in 2025! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year filled with peace and love."
