I spent the whole day brainstorming a bunch of names and they all sound good to me. Can I ask for your help?

Yeah, I think genre could help a little. However, I don't find any of these names to be very promising. However, if you're a brutal ass Death Metal band I think Blunt Force Acrimony would be a pretty sweet name. Of course, I think anything with "Blunt Force" attached to it is.

Thrash/Techinical Death Metal

i voted fr Cutthroat Retribution, but like C.J.W.Wyatt said, i don't like the names too much either. bt i don't blame you, finding names for whatever is incredibly hard!

rapture refused sounds to me totally 'thrash/technical death'

I like Rise to Vindiction except that "vindiction" is not a word. Did you mean "vindication?" After that, Rapture Refused and Blunt Force Acrimony are decent. My personal favourite would be a hybrid of two options: Blunt Force Wreckoning. I like that name; it rolls easily off the tongue yet still sounds hard and aggressive. (Acrimony has too many syllables. If you want to use it, make it the full name of the band: Acrimony.)

Of the options provided, I chose Rapture Refused as the best from your list, although I will admit it's a bit gentle for a thrash/technical death outfit. Go with either Acrimony or Blunt Force Wreckoning, whichever best suits your band's style. Even Acrimonious is nice.

Acrimony would suit really well for a death/thrash tecnical band.

I gotta admit dude, Miasma Of Hate sounds the weakest out of the entire list. Sounds like a cliche' metalcore bands name (no offense intended).

Sorry, my friend, Rapture refused is maybe ok, but... Maybe you wanna try with something...catchier? Just a suggestion...

Other than Rise to Vindiction, they don't reall stand out to me. All seem a little cliche. Rise is good.

And using the word "hate" in your band name sounds lame. Children of Bodom already has the market cornered on that one - just don't go there. Although I will admit that Miasma by itself might work. So let me add to our list:

5) Miasma (1. noxious exhalations from putrescent organic matter; poisonous effluvia or germs polluting the atmosphere. 2. a dangerous, foreboding, or deathlike influence or atmosphere.)

Actually, I'm starting to really like Miasma all by itself.

You know maybe you're right but maybe we don't want fans who pick a band based on how the band chooses the name as opposed to the name itself or better yet, the way we sound which is most important to me, and should be to every band, which i can assure you we're taking care of much better than coming up with a name.

You have been the stand alone most helpful person here, I actually was thinking of mixing up the vocabulary and i came to blunt force wreckoning earlier, i might try that one and see how it goes down. I was thinking Miasma in itself would be good too, but the problem with that is that it's already a taken signed band, which drives me nuts because there's five metal bands for every cool word in the dictionary, and people don't understand i feel like i want to be original with it, which is why i cant think of anything short and catchy, im gonna sit and think for another day and change the poll up with the new ideas i get, and a few of the ones you listed. Much gratitude.

I suggest you use the random article feature on Wikipedia; the Thesaurus is also very helpful. The anagram server can also mix things up a bit...
It seems that at least three bands have used the word "miasma" already so avoid using that...

I like Miasma of Psychosis. It sounds like it could hold a few deeper meanings in it.

I always try to come up with a clever wordplay if I can't think of something that sounds amazing.
For example, my new band is called Critically Ashamed (as opposed to critically acclaimed).
