You sound like a parody band! Seriously though, I'm not sure what made you think this is a parody band.. the album covers are cheese due to the CG but, it sounds fairly legit, not a bad band but nothing amazing either. Some thing bothers me about the drums though, either they're programmed or just too overprocessed/compressed.

I don't get parody from this at all sounds kinda good. Not exactly mould breaking but respectable bit of Emperor worship. More power to them.

I saw you guys live in MC Pekarna I dunno 2 years ago or last year; it was a good gig, I liked it, even though the hall (small as it is) was half empty. I also have your debut album.

I downloaded one of their albums just recently. I'll have to listen to it sometime later.

Smargroth came a long way up since 2009! Empyreal Cycle is indeed a crushing album!

I don't see a problem with self-promotion for an underground band. :/

And I'd certainly hope none of our reviewers lower their scores based on such trivial matters. No offense, I just think that's a weak thing to do.

Anyway, the album is pretty decent, with a few songs verging on excellent.
