Okay, i put a bunch of albums for download when i left home yesterday and one of them was Nostradameus - Words of Nostrademeus
The band originates from Sweden and has existed since 1998. Their first album was Words of Nostrademeus. And according to metal-archives, their first two releases are power metal and the two latter ones (from 2003) are done with a heavy/thrash metal sound.
I haven't even heard all of the CD and i want to make a topic about it...hah. Anyways, from what i've heard, the music is really nice. It was said by a reviewer, that "the lyrics are cheesy, but the music most definately is not". The second song of the album "The Vision" kicks a nice start in and the other songs are also full of power, with the exceptions of the intro and "Without Your Love". They have a homepage, but for some reason, the soundclips area isn't working. i think that their album Hellbound is their best, really good songs and the lyrics are great and it sounds great! i havent heard that much of their other songs but i like them..

I dont like them and I never had liked them, I dunno its something of metal, but I just hear nes about them thay had new album out it calls ''Patway''

"Words Of Nostradameus" and "The Prophet Of Evil" their era Power of the band, the next three albums....I don't like them so much.

Ive heard only the album "Words Of Nostradameus",and I can tell I like it, but the mp3 that I have is of very bad quality, so I couldnt enjoy it much, I dont know how is the production on original CD, but... I think they are not bad at all.

They are good...and they have quality....but are nothing new to power nor heavy music....
Ow!...heres a funny thing about the band I read in an interview of theirs:The band first wanted to be called Nostradamus...but then they realised that then they wouldnt have as many letters as their favorite band, Stratovarius,...and so they have decided to put an additional E in their name and got Nostradameus

I heard few songs the day before, not really something I would listen at home..

I've never heard them, but i'll try to hear some of them

Pretty good band, saw them live as support to Edguy a few years ago in Stockholm.
Only have 2 albums with them though.

I had never heard of them until they were confirmed for ProgPower Scandinavia this fall. I haven't listened to any of their music yet, but I'll check them out before the gig.

weirdly enough, the only song i really love by them is their cover of Scream of Anger, sounds much more over the top than the original, though the ending is too drawn-out. I also like the songs Requiem and Towards the Sleep.

I have now listened to these guys as promised a while back. They are really good and catchy without being cheesy. "One For All, All For One" is just amazing
