Supergroups are rarely more than the sums of their parts. Going by the teaser it doesn't sound like it'll be any different. Very dry stuff.

Twilight and Shrinebuilder?

Twilight and Shrinebuilder?

Twilight is pretty mediocre to be honest. The odd good song. I don't remember much from my listens of Shrinebuilder though.

Pretty decent, I would say. Then again, I am a bit of a Cisneros fanboy
I respect the fuck out of Webster and Loomis as players, but going off of that teaser I'm not overly impressed either. Just seems like a lot of your typical tech death virtuosity, feels a lot more robotic than anything else. I'll wait til the album comes out to judge it as a whole of course, but right now I can honestly say it'd be a lot more interesting with some slower, more melodic tracks. I'd love to see a ballad from these guys, maybe Loomis could help out in that aspect.

It's certainly not bad. A hell of a lot better than that Corrections House super group than people seemed to love from last year.

Hmmm, unfamiliar. Who's in that one?
