It wasn't long until they left their cave and wondered outside once more, amazed they realized that the world had not ended as they had fearfully believed during the night. In fact, the grass was greener, the air fresher and the sun had risen again.

Imo this is about an 8/10. Not quite up to par with their glory days but definitely a decent release with some commendable moments.

Very nice album IMHO. The band recovers the level compared with DWoS. Very ellegant release.

A real improvement on the previous one, but that was not too hard to accomplish...
It is an enjoyable album, but a little let down by some unimaginative singing, even if good overall.

It's actually Italian for "Hopes and Love".
EDIT: Ah, ok, I just saw "Volar Sin Dolor"...

A damn fine album. Actually, I wasn't expecting much from them, even though I haven't listened to the previous album, but this surprised me. The only track I think it's a step behind is "shining star", which is a pretty lame ballad, but the rest compensates enough.

Can't help myself not feel mediocrity on this record (and the previous album as well). Compared to "real" Rhapsody from the past there are barely any memorable moments. Maybe the chorus in "The Kiss Of Life" resembles something from good old days...

I have the same thought as Ellrohir. This album is almost the same as if you weren't listening to anything, you don't get anything from it, not one memorable song.
Dark Wings of Steel and previous 3 RoF albums at least had catchy songs.

It's always interesting to read different viewpoints about these albums.
Opposite with yours, I have some songs from this one I really enjoy and consider memorable in my book. Into the Legend, Distant Sky, Rage of Darkness and Kiss of Life (especially that one) are tunes that I revisit in a certain amount of time. The other ones are also nice tunes that enjoy when I can.
