hey metalstormers!

i'm searching for some good easy metal guitar solos to learn. To give you an idea how good i am heres some other easy ones that i already know:
AC/DC - Back in Black solo, You Shook Me All Night Long solo
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven solo
Opeth - A Fair Judgement solos
Metallica - One solo, Fade To Black solo, Enter Sandman solo, the easy MOP solo, Orion solos
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody dolo
Van Halen - Eruption (tapping part)

Oh how good you are Are you sure you're at least in tune when you play those solos?

van halen-eruption (tapping part) is fairly easy if yoy know how to tap ... its actually one of the first tapping runs you should learn ... its good practice... i also play play the power rangers theme song for tapping practice .... dont laugh ... its fun to play

As far as good and easy solos go... I found that I'm Alive and I Want Out (both by Helloween) were pretty damn easy to get down.

W.A.S.P. is not hard to play. Try to play their solos.

these solos actually aren't that hard. a bit of practice and theyre nailed.

CoB? theyre crazy solos! no way could i learn those. unless u know of any easier ones??

lol what was i thinking, cob isn't easy at all, maybe the mozart part from downfall but that's too easy

you could try metallica's stuff, like whiplash, the four horsemen or judas priest- green manalishi(trying to learn it now) and tyrant(this just sounds great and it's no real big deal, though i can't play it)

@Master_o_Puppets: these solos you listed aren't very easy, I mean you can play Fade to Black solo correct, being only 16? Know that Gojira guitarist said in an interview to Terrorizer that he has been trying to play that solo for 10 years, and is still working on it?

Yeah, I spent some time with that song, and it is not easy how it looks lol

Adrian Smith's solo in 'The Evil That Men Do' is one of Maiden's easiest. The first and second solos in One and Fade to Black are actually quit easy...it's just the fade-out solo in Fade to Black and the main solo in One that are hard.

Oh well im trying to play the fade to black solo for two years now and im still working on it lol its not easy at all.

Can you upload a recording of yourself playing some of those solos? It's one thing to be able to play all the notes, but it's another thing entirely to play the solo with precision and conviction.

Oh, and learn 'Living After Midnight' by Priest.

Actually this thread gives me like an inferiority complx, guess I should spend some time improving my guitar skills, and @ maser_of_puppets: maybe you should try some tech death, if you would like something challenging, as I suppose that your definition of "easy guitar solo" isn't really that easy, anyway you could try some earlier Atheist for example, or Cynic, which is very technical, but somewhat slower when compared to other tech death heroes.

I usually dont play solos and im not too good at playing them but here are some solos that i think both sound great and are quit easy to play:

Crystal Mountain is currently my favorite song to play, I would recommend this one to play!

humm...i cant remember euruption having a tapping part as a solo...but i do remember its tremolo thing that is really easy...

umm...and some of you mentioned that power ranger solo. well, that was Buckethead who made that song. and if you're not familiar with him, do yourself a favor, and look him up!!!!

buckethead didnt make the actual show theme song ... he just did some stuff for some of the power ranger movies... the theme song thing is a rumor...

and im pretty sure there is a tapping part on eruption... actually im posative
