This is the only Swans studio album I am yet to spin, will have to do soon!

I found this really tedious compared to the two that came before it, even for Swans.

^It's a matter of perspective; all the three latest has different vibes to it. The Seer is the black lodge, To Be Kind is twin peaks, and The Glowing Man is the white lodge lol. What finally got me into Swans was The Glowing Man, which is definitely an easier assault rather than the previous two. For that reason it has stuck unto me, I think they really refined the post rock divine droning on this album. And they really did a complete version of this style on this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEguGPXg0IE

We will see what he will bring with the next album, will it be completely different or a continuation of these latest releases.

For me The Seer, To Be Kind and The Glowing Man are all on the same level. All different atmospheres but one is just as good as the other.
