Cave In - Working On New Material
Cave In are apparently working on new material for the upcoming release, possibly this year via Hydra Head Records. According to a recent interview with Germany's Visions, the band had met together to work on some songs in 2017 and 2018. A number of those tracks will be compiled for an apparent album this year according to the band's frontman/guitarist, Stephen Brodsky. More to follow.
The group were of course dealt a tragic blow last year with the passing of their bassist/vocalist Caleb Scofield, who died in a car accident in March of last year. It is unclear if any of Scofield's contributions will make it on this forthcoming release.
Additionally, Cave In has already been confirmed for a couple of shows in 2019:
10.04.2019 - GER, Berlin @ Festsaal Kreuzberg (w/ Old Man Gloom, Bossk)
13.04.2019 - NED, Tilburg @ Roadburn Festival
22.06.2019 - FRA, Clisson @ Hellfest
