Discuss the band, or anything that deals with the band. I'll start:

Anyone that knows something about this band, music label, still active, that sort of things? I only know they are from France, but that's all.

An amazing band. That's all I have to say. Amazing and unique. I can listen to Le Secret for an innumerable number of times...

I have 2 songs from them, basicly their EP, but is there any more from this band?

Yes, there is the 'Tristesse Hivernale'. (Crypt, correct spelling?)

But I find that one quite worthless, average BM. The change from TH to Le Secret is almost as amazing as the stuff on Le Secret itself.

Ah, god this is a superb band. If you filtered everything that was amazing out of Drudkh's 'Autumn Aurora', made if even better then compressed it into two songs you'd have the 'Le Secret' e.p.

Yeah, I checked it on M-A, although never found it on Soulseek, but my interest is gone if you say that is different from Le Secret

Well, that is my opinion, but also from a lot of others, read the thread in the archive..

well, I finally got Le Secret but won't keep it....

I can understand why people like so much this band but I don't expect BM to be so mellow... just personal tastes...

nop... leecher as I am I downloaded it.... I usually don't buy what I don't know... well, sometimes at accult grim CD stores but never through internet.

New Alcest planned for 2007. I wrote to Neige, its quite interesting to hear his inspiration for the band especially since he is involved with more aggressive, raw bands like Peste Noire.
Anyway, an excellent band, great atmosphere and a very unique feel. I am hoping the next time they release something itll be a full length.

I must get it. Have my doubts he can match Le Secret, though.

I usually try my max to avoid black metal, but really this "Le Secret" is something that went far beyond Black Metal's boundaries, that EP is excellent.

Le secret was a great ep indeed! but people tend to forget about Tristess Hivernal

I actually like Tristess Hivernal a lot, being a rawer black metal release. It really reminds me of Agantyr.
Anyway I really like both releases and I have High hopes for the releases that will come.

Le Secret Is a stunning Ep, i have heard both tracks on the EP innumerable number of times now....

"Le Secret" is very addicting, I really start to like it. Beautiful acoustic guitars and very efficient keyboards to guide the desolate riffs. Must-have!

downloaded a 12 minute track called 'elevation'. wow! you guys gets excited over some mediocre music don't you? fair enough, they don't do anything wrong, but its pretty derivative.

For you, maybe. I loved it. The vocals are something I have never heard before. And for some reason,, the riffing is 'different' too. But on the other hand, it is not such a 'big thing' as one might expect from the posts in this thread.

It's all about atmosphere, which you don't seem to get into.

Whatever Mr FancyPants, I just wanted to say you have to get taken away by the atmosphere to really enjoy it. It is beyond me where you got the "get black metal" idea (that you are supposing me to have) from.
For me this EP is way beyond anything that Varg ever spit out.

PS: No offence intended in any post, just in case you didn't "get" it.

and thsoe songs
''Le Secret'' and ''Elévation'' then I had hear them too, but I hant them now but I like it good band and its posible tell when I listen them thay are from Frace

If someone dare to say that theese guys is better then drudkh I must check them out.
