Sepultura that is actually listenable after more than 20 years. Cool suprise

I am really surprised with musical quality of this release. The more I listen to it the more I love it.

Listened to this album several times yesterday and it's very, very good! Never thought I'd listen to post-Max Sepultura, but this is a very strong release which deserves a solid 8, and might even warrant a 9 (I'll allow the dust to settle first and see how enjoyable this album remains)

Weird album.

I like it - Guardians Of Earth is cool, quite new for them. Probably overtakes The Mediator... as my favourite Derrick Green album (although I'm not really that much of a Sepultura fan in general)

Well I liked quite a few post-Cavalera records and this is definitely one of them.

Sepultura made first album after roots

I am honestly positively surprised. Never been huge fan of post-Cavalera Sepultura, but this thing here kicks some serious ass. So well in fact, that I might need to reconsider my relationship with the band once again. To my surprise they aren't even trying to cash in with some easy nostalgia points like some other older bands tend to do nowadays. I like that.

Biggest surprise of the year so far. Super brutal! Best work since Roots in my opinion.

First 3 songs were really a-kicking...

My all-time favorite Sepultura album is Beneath the Remains. It's an exhibition of riffology . Far way better than illustrated Arise with the 3 only great songs and excellent production. Quadra for me as competitions, and playing through is my second favorite Sepultura album. Everything is on this album. Madness, groove, kick-ass banging, excellence, experimental, melodies. It's a killer album. I pretend that Roots never existed in this world.

The more I listen to this album the more I like it. I can not stop listening. I can't get enough of listening. I already consider the best Sepultura album of all time.

It never departed from Kairos tbh as they may believe that implying folky tunes into this album will do wonders. No wonder if I get to see electronic elements weaving into Sepultura future releases.
