Australian funeral doom metal formation Mournful Congregation have shared a photo with Tim Call's drum kit, indicating that the work on new material/music is underway. Their last full length opus, The Incubus Of Karma, was released two years ago. Stay tuned for additional info.

Waiting on the arrival of my Book of Kings vinyl in the meantime. Hopefully this will be of similar quality.

Given that it was a 3 year gap between The Book Of Kings and the Concrescence of the Sophia And then another 4 until they unleashed The Incubus of Karma I would be surprised if it's a full length but hell I'll take anything. As long as I don't have to wait 7 years between LPs again I'll be thrilled. I've had the pleasure of seeing them twice At Migration Fest and I'd love to see them again. One of my favourites.
