Dutch death/doom metal band Officium Triste are all set to release their seventh full length album, entitled Hortus Venenum. To taste a first piece of the new music, give a listen to the first single "Behind Closed Doors". You can also give a look to the album's cover artwork, created by Paolo Girardi.

The band's statement: "Behind Closed Doors" is the first single and opening track of Hortus Venenum. When we were working on this song we named it the horror song due to that keyboard part. Martin came up with the song title. The lyrics deal with real live horror.

"Hortus Venenum means poison garden. Now actual poison gardens do exist, but we use it as a metaphor. Paolo Girardi perfectly painted the idea we had for the cover. You’ll figure it out!"
