Pig Destroyer - New Track Streaming


Pig Destroyer will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark third record Terrifyer with a special reissue, coming out on November 15th via Relapse Records. The expanded edition now boasts 47 tracks and will be available in several formats, featuring revamped artwork by the original artist Cris Crude. Both Terrifyer and its companion Natasha were remastered for this release. A previously unreleased track, "Untitled", is also available for listening.

Prowler and Terrifyer are so close in quality. My two favorite grindcore albums of all time. I think Prowler is just a hair above Terrifyer in overall vibe but Terrifyer has actually their best song which is "Towering Flesh".

In another universe I would be jumping on this reissue in a heartbeat. but I already got the OG Terrifyer CD version which included Natasha as a bonus cd back in the mid 2000s (fuck my collection is old enough to go to a bar...). Plus I bought a very nice vinyl of Terrifyer just a year ago or so.

I agree with this word for word!! I used to prefer Terrifyer but now Prowler edges it out just slightly. I am not a huge fan of Grindcore but these albums are the best the genre has to offer for me.
