Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal We can say that they concluded their career in style. We are undoubtedly facing the magnum opus of the British band's career. Every music is incredible, I couldn't stop headbanging. It's the best at the end, the icing on the cake, and honestly I prefer a band to end with their best album, it's the conclusion in style, the pinnacle of a career. Honestly, death metal is not my favorite genre, but this album charmed me. A must-listen for any metalhead wanting to discover all the great classics of the genre. |

Bolt Thrower - Realm Of Chaos This choice may seem surprising, but the second part of the Bolt Thrower saga is clearly among my favorites. Already World Eater is one of my favorite tracks from the band, but the album itself is raw and gets straight to the point, that's how I like them. I find him particularly good, he has nothing to envy of his successors. |

Bolt Thrower - Mercenary Speaking of the underside, Mercenary is clearly the most neglected in my opinion. Even though it's probably not the heaviest of the lot, I still had a great time with it. Obviously, it doesn't have tracks as striking as The IVth Crusade or ...For Victory, but as an album I find it a little better to listen to. |

Bolt Thrower - The IVth Crusade This album is probably the one that comes closest to the image I have of Bolt Thrower, powerful, punchy riffs, and above all it is punctuated by some truly incredible tracks (the title track in particular). He's just off the podium but by band standards, it's not nothing. |

Bolt Thrower - ...For Victory One of the band's most popular albums, and honestly it's not far from number 8, however it didn't manage to convince me as much as others. I find the riffs less powerful and I have slightly less headbanging on this one than in Realm Of Chaos for example. However, if we talk about the tracks individually, it would have its place on the podium because it contains among the best of everything the band has done. |

Bolt Thrower - In Battle There Is No Law I didn't expect more from the beginning of the band, we already have the elements but the whole thing is not as successful as most of the band's albums. But for a debut, it's still a very good album. |

Bolt Thrower - Warmaster Album which has the misfortune of being preceded and succeeded by two of Bolt Thrower's best albums. We're still sure of the quality, everything we expect from the band, but it's a bit of a downer compared to what the death metal band was able to do. It lacks a bit of punch (by the standards that the band had already set high). But if we don't take into account that this album is part of one of the best death metal discographies, then we realize that it's still a good album. |

Bolt Thrower - Honour - Valour - Pride A little surprised that the album I liked the least from the group was the penultimate and especially the predecessor of one of my favorite metal albums of any genre. He's the weakest, quite simply because I have the impression that the band tried to be more creative (at least more different) in terms of riffs and that it wasn't really successful. It's a small disappointment, but more than made up for by the album that follows it. |
