Ok, I slightly rearranged it. It's not from Europe. The band's is younger. They're three on stage.

Hmm. Sounds very familiar to me. In fact it's a bit similar to Death In Fire intro (from Amon Amarth) but it isn't (and they ARE metal band).
You said it's not metal band. The first band i thought about was ABBA because i think they had a song that sounds somehow like this but they are 4 on stage.
I surrender

They're not as old as ABBA or Europe. They're a rock band, very famous nowadays. They have a topic in the Hard Rock forum.

Ok, the song is on the album Absolution. The exact riff can be clearly heard at the end of the song, though the intro riff is quite similar.

More hints: It's a US trhash band, a very famous US thrash band which is still active despite several lineup changes.

I know I really shouldn't be guessing, because I didn't post a tab when I could, have, but I had no time. What comes to mind for me is Necrophagist, I even thought it could be something by !T.O.O.H.!, but other than that, I'm clueless.

I don't think that Necrophagist could be "sometimes pretty melodical".

well for me Necrophagist is very melodical you just have to get used to it. hmm what tips.............its not a European band and it got pretty popular in last few years. everyone except the drummer growls in this band. and well....id say this band is more often than "sometimes" pretty melodical. it depends .

Nile - Sacrifice Unto Sebek
Knew it instantly... well I should have, after all it's my most played song on my last.fm charts.
Here's a new one. This might be quite hard but I hope there are some fans of this band here. Well alright... I'll make it a lot easier, this band comes from eastern Europe. And this part is repeated many times near the end:
I suggest trying with the "Overdriven Guitar" if you are using Guitar Pro.
