Cain's Offering will probably be the biggest power metal band of the next years.
For those who haven't heard about them yet:
It's a finnish power metal band, the new project of Jani Liimatainen (former Sonata Arctica guitarist)
The band members are:
Timo Kotipelto - Vocals
Jani Liimatainen - Guitars
Mikko Harkin - Keyboards
Jukka Koskinen - Bass
Jani "Hurtsi" Hurula - Drums
Their debut album "Gather The Faithful" will be released on the 27th of August in Europe and on the 11th of September in the USA.

Seems that the drum recordings for the second Cain's Offering album are set to start next Monday!

I really love this album! Sometimes the lyrics are a bit cheesy, but I love it all the same. I am excited for their next album! My guitar player got me into a lot of European bands, such as Cain's Offering, Sonata Arctica, and Therion. If you like these you might like my band Heliosaga too! We just released our debut album. Again an update from Jani regarding Cain's Offering II in his blog, saying that the album will be released on April 29 in Japan. The other release dates are yet to be announced. Anyhoo, soon the wait will be over!
