I haven't listened to it in detail yet, but the what I heard from Christopher Lee - Charlamagne is incredibly epic. Cheezy as hell, and probably not the best thing I've ever heard, but epic none the less.

I believe word epic is highly subjective term, and we shouldn't use it. What's epic to you, isn't epic to me, and vice versa.

Warning - Footprints and Ensiferum - Windrider are as Epic as you can get, in a non cheesy way In that song Warning pours its soul out, it's all there the overbearing emotion, the devastating riffs, and the unparalleled vocals. As for Ensiferum, it's all in the guitar riffs I mean seriously it doesn't get any better than that, I worship Windrider's riffs.

Shine on You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd, okay okay, not really metal but it's such a beautiful song, my definition of epic: beautiful, calm music spun out over a lotta time and that's really what this song is.
