I am, however, hopeful that he will realize his true potential under Guardiola. For all of Guardiola's "overthinking" and the flaws in his philosophy, he is capable of taking very good players and turning them into playing legends.

Nice little side note, indeed, wasnt aware of that fact. The Bayern Valencia penalty shootout in the CL final was in May 2001, though. But that doesnt make this fact about La Liga teams any less remarkable I guess.

Yeah, 2000-01 season. Somehow clipped the end year on that.

IMO best penalty shout out in CL histpry was between Liverpool and Milan in Istanbul.

So some good nation leakage matches , whit some suprises, but in big deal, even big teams lose they still have EC chances via quallification, so its just a keep level goingf and some bonus for smaller teams.

France games was surprise to me, 2 points, well, if Austria wins something france might go down.

I do think Bayern will beat Barca, but I doubt it'll be 8:2 again - I think it'll be a bit closer with Lewa now for Barca, but like I said Bayern looks really strong and Mane seems to have found his place in the club

Spurs in 3rd place? I think they are still strong, they've always been a pretty consistent team. I think Eintracht will have to fight for 2nd place

Dortmund might have it tough against Sevilla, since they don't have Haaland anymore

I hate PSG, but I think they'll still make it to the knockout stage. But not further than quarter final, where they usually get eliminated.

(Ramos eliminating Real is pretty funny - I didn't know that )

NO it was other big real player I don't remember his name. Sorry, it was like 2006 I don't remember but he was on loan there.
