I recommend the Grotesque Impalement EP. Every song is fucking killer, and a lot say it contains their best material.

Goddammit I'm starting to get really pissed off. I figured they'd sell the remastered version of Killing on Adrenaline at the show tonight, but they only sold the same two albums they always do. I have a bad feeling that I'm going to have to order it from Displeased for like $35 and wait two months for it to come in the mail. What the fuck

I'll bet they just did a shitty job with the remaster and are just carrying a limited supply so people won't realize that. I've heard absolutely no feedback about the remaster of this album.

Even if it is a shitty remaster, it'll still be better than my super low quality burned CD.

I bought the new album yesterday and I seem to have the same opinion that I've read from most people - awesome album that's way better than War of Attrition, but of course not as good as some of their older stuff. But, I don't think it has any filler on it, besides the third song, "Hopeless Insurrection" (written by Sean, NOT John), which is probably the worst song they've ever released.
All I have to say for song 6, the title track, is OH MY GAWD!!!.
This will stay in my car CD player for about two weeks, guaranteed.

Just bought the new one and I agree, it is very good comparing against "War of Attrition," but nothing they ever do again is going to top "Destroy the Opposition," so it leaves me quite satisfied.

My personal favorite is Killing on Adrenaline, although most people seem to think that Destroy the Opposition is their best. Descend into Depravity, Grotesque Impalement, and Stop at Nothing are all enjoyable releases though. Just don't get War of Attrition.

First heard this band today. Another one that slipped through the cracks, probably in part due to their freakish name, lol. My early impressions are they are similar to both Severe Torture and Prostitute Disfigurement but with a ton more breakdowns - at least the album Descend Into Depravity (interestingly titled almost identically to Descendants Of Depravity by said Prostitute Disfigurement).
I'd love to hear more from this band. They have my attention. Any more thoughts/opinions on where they fit, style-wise within the realm of death-metal/brutal DM? Favorite album(s) by them?

I personally consider them a more brutal form of death metal (especially their early stuff), but not br00tal death metal a la Cephalotripsy and co.
It's hard to say which album I prefer...their latest was really good, Destroy the Opposition, War of Attrition, also good albums...
I think their best song is "Kill Your Mother, Rape Your Dog" - and not just because that's a seriously kick-ass title.

I hope so, it is a great return to form for the band. I even prefer it to Destroy the Opposition

It was mainly the vocals that I didn't like. They just sounded bad on that album, and that's saying a lot because Gallagher is one of my favorite death metal vocalists.

Just listened to 'War Of Attrition' and it's pretty solid. However, DID is starkly better production. Great band only getting better and better support from their label, it would seem. I LOVE the production on DID. Perfect for the band and not too far off from their earlier sound - just clearer, cleaner, better-mixed and produced.
I also have to mention that man does this band have a lot of breakdowns. I thought I loved breakdowns, but this band pushes my limit with them. Not complaining as much as pointing that out - and wondering if others hear the same, feel the same way?

Can you name songs where breakdowns occur? I haven't heard all that many in their songs.
