Nobody regurgitates slimy, unsettling grindy-death like Cattle Decapitation. The Anthropocene Extinction is on the one hand technical, cold, and rigid, and on the other a great, big, bloody mess of disgusting offal and pulsating remains. Top it all off with one of extreme metal's most remarkable vocal juggernauts, and the gory might of Cattle Decap cannot be contained. Whatever they've been doing these last few years has paid off immeasurably.

Loved every second of this album. There is a full stream of it online, can be found on metalsucks or their Facebook page.

Their sound has matured even more. There is still the insanity, but it is more structured. It's a wild ride.

Man, this is fantastic. Didn't think it was possible for these guys to improve so much after Monolith, but they do not disappoint.

Here I thought Monolith couldn't be topped. Very glad I was wrong. Killer album, absolutely relentless, and more of those incredible high vocals. Favorite album of the year so far. Just fantastic.

Their best album so far... And that's a lot considering monolith!.
Great riffs, amazing vocal work, from insane growls to "melodic" singing, insane drums, and the atmosphere is really apocalyptic. They're like wine, the older the better they get! Really can't wait to see them next month! 9.5/10

While the band said they refined the innovation presented in Monolith, I still prefer said album over this. I don't hear as much...feeling?

Honestly, I think this album will stay as the pinnacle of deathrind in my mind. At least until the next Cattle Decapitation record.
It's still very brutal, but contains enough variability not to become boring as you make a music journey from the first track to the last one.
My favourite tracks: Manufactured Extinct, The Prophets of Loss, Clandestine Ways (Krokodil Rot), Circo Inhumanitas, Not Suitable for Life, Apex Blasphemy, Pacific Grim.

Funny and quite a surprise to hear the voice of Bethlehem's Jürgen Bartsch on the last track...

Sorry for downrating this a bit but I am missing more killer tracks like "Plagueborne" to say it's not just good but even very good.

Just came across this. Not official but Jesus Christ this gave me chills and not always in a good way. I'm gonna have to go hunting for more fanmade videos:

A tad bit of too long for a deathgrind album making me put the previous album over this. Good stuff nonetheless

Good stuff nonetheless

Good album, indeed. It was coming with heavy weightage of "Monolith Of Inhumanity", which I feel Cattle never able to surpass the quality as much as they came very close with "Terrasite". I enjoy the songs off this album from time to time.
