So they are alive and well. Can't wait to have the cd in my hands.

I'd like to point out that the start of the *verse of "Descânt" is Gayatri Mantra(regarded as one of the most influential mantras of Rig Veda follows religiously in Hinduism and is purely dedicated to Vedmata(goddess of Vedic mantra).

*Om bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
tat savitur vareṇyaṃ
bhargo devasya dhīmahi
dhiyo yo naḥ prachodayāt

Translation:

Here's meditating upon the one who governs the universe, to illuminate our minds by eliminating ignorance. We meditate upon the Ishwar(almighty above heaven - God), the one who sustains life. Enlighten us.

I don't see how Dordeduh can be cringy, even if you dislike their music... I find music cringy when I'm annoyed by it, or if I find it corny or cheesy.

An album what proves that metal dont need language, an album what lose few fans because its in Romanian. Good complex folk tunes mix in progressive black metal. A bit Enslaved vibe.

It's mainly the straight vocals, they sound off key to me. Maybe it's the accent, I'm not 100% sure. And paired with the metal riffs and the jester sounds in the background, it sounds really forced and cliche.

Top album of 2021 for me at the moment. Really nice song structure, production and atmosphere set by the band.

Album of the year (so far). Plenty of B-tier contenders but this is the first one for me that soars head and shoulders above the rest.

Is this atmo black? Seems more like prog black.

Dordeduh is such a fun word to say. Like Seinfeld's salsa.

I love the mix of Hindu culture in it. As Cynic already mentioned the Gayatri mantra. Also the album starting and ending with Om chants. I love how metal is incorporating Hindu elements in itself, I have heard a few different bands and I love them all. And also they go really well together, sonically.

Album wise very very creative. The music is extremely pleasing, just hits the right spots. Romanian metal bands are killing it this year, first Sur Austru now Dordeduh.

I understand this is a very good album but I always have problems with lengthy songs. Such lovely music, would have repeated a lot more if it were bit shortened.

Whatever type of music this is... it's bloody incredible and one of the best albums I've bought this year. The side project ' Sunset in the 12th House' also released a great album called 'Mozaic' which is so chill it's a wonder I've come out of my coma!!!

I was sceptical at first, but what the heck. This album is AWESOME.

What an incredible album, complex, thoughtful and full of details. Sometimes chilled, sometimes intense, always sourounded by a magical aura. For now a solid 9.

How can an accent possibly make vocals sound off key? That makes no sense.

One of the best albums of that year.
