A couple of years ago I was still at the point where the IPA Gods had not bestowed the appreciation of that type of beer upon me. Then. One fateful night in Denver, CO I had a Voodoo Ranger and it changed my opinion of IPAs.

It seems that 2021 is the year that I started to gain an appreciation for Avant-garde Black.

It's pretty darn good hey? I had been meaning to update my list for awhile because there albums on there that should have been demoted. That one was absolutely a grower. I've liked it more and more with each listen. Glad you gave it a second chance! That BTBAM album is definitely a grower too. And I saw Antediluvian on your list before it even dropped so that lead me to search that one out too. I'll need some more time with it but I definitely dig it. Minus the track that you also called out for being drivel lol.
