I was looking to get a wah wah pedal and I don't know anything on the subject. What one would be good for playing heavy medal, sludge metal, and thrash. I was thinking that the Zack Wylde crybaby would be the one for the job. Any thoughts?

Don't know nothing about pedals, but the other day I did try putting the recording on audacity and using the wah wah effect directly from the program.

Problem is I get a damn error and the program closes down Annoying considering that all other effects work with no probs.

Audacity is a bitch when it comes to crashes, I've lost complete 3+ minute tracks due to it.

I only get crashes with wahwah effect. My problem most of time is that sometimes I open a file and it's empty ! With a warning with some crap about "orphan files" or no data, no way of getting it back nor nothing.

So now, whenever I get something I find decent, export directly to mp3 to be sure it's safe.
