Over the course of nine years , Nevermore have been slowly rising within the ranks of American melodic heavy metal. After their critically acclaimed Dead Heart, In A Dead World of 2000, Nevermore have been on the road playing to an ever-increasing fan base. So after a three-year wait, anticipation for a new Nevermore album is fairly high. I have always considered Nevermore one of the best bands that have ever existed. 20 years ago they were at the peak of their creativity, releasing three albums in five years that re-defined US heavy power/heavy thrash metal with this being the transition between Dead Heart in a Dead World and This Godless Endeavor.
