Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, as it has quite a few good songs. Very similar style to Sin/Pecado but definitely a lot less great.

'The Butterfly Effect' is to Moonspell what 'Host' is to Paradise Lost, Both are Gothic Metal albums with an added Electronic element and both are unfortunately grossly underrated. The songwriting on the album is astute but not masterful like you have on 'Irreligious' or 'Sin/Pecado' but this is Moonspell experimenting with a sound and doing a decent job with it too and I'd of been happy enough to see them attempt to perfect it on their follow up. 'The Butterfly Effect' is a worthy addition to any Metal collection, boy's and girl's. Notable tracks: 'Can't Bee' 'Lustmord' 'I Am The Eternal Spectator'
