"Hermitage is an open-hearted invitation to simplicity. To be humble. To be thankful. To serve you solace. Provide you comfort, entertainment. We sincerely hope this call reaches you. That you kindly accept what we offer. That you take our music with you to the place you must feel as yours. To your secret place, to your hermitage. Blessed be." - Fernando Ribeiro   Review by Dream Taster ››

Moonspell have returned with a concept album sung entirely in Portuguese language and focusing on the massive earthquake that took place in Lisbon in 1755, resulting in a devastating number of human casualties and a city turned to rubble. But you already know all that because the band has made quite an effort to promote these certain traits of their new album and this is called good marketing. The question is if 1755 lives up to the great expectations it created as soon as it was announced.   Review by nikarg ››
I figured Extinct to be one of those albums that offer instant gratification; you know, the one that gets you smiling when you listen to it the first time around, evoking the same emotions over and over on each subsequent visit. Because this album is actually almost that good. But the more I listen to it, the less I can figure out and pinpoint that little something that rubs me the wrong way.   Review by Ivor ››
