Hello to everybody, I'm Jeep. I've been coming to Metalstorm for a while, only discoverd the forums and joined recently. I'm mostly into thrash metal because I've been listening to it the longest, but lately, especially since finding Metalstorm, I've gotten into folk, black and doom metal especially, and generally expanded my tastes.
Bands I've been into lately are mostly from the awards and include:
Toxic Holocaust
Burst
Kalmah
Boris
Equilibrium
Excrementory Grindfuckers
Textures

Boris if definately a little out there considering I don't like drone much, but I really liked Pink so I thought I might as well go for one of their more droney albums in Amplifier Worship. I'm still not totally sure if i like it, but it's definately interesting and worth listening to.

I listened to Heavy Rocks and liked that a lot, not sure if I will like Feedbacker, but it seems like an interesting song/album that should be interesting to hear, even if I don't like it.
Also, thanks for the welcome MadGatsu. I just recently started lsitening to Kalmah and they seem like a solid band.

Not really sure how to proceed here, but I have a possible thread topic that I think a lot of metalstormers can relate too. The problem is, is that it might be deemed as un-appropriate because it relates to violence. Sooo, should I just message someone in the staff or something to check if it's allowed? Or should I post the topic and if it is deemed unsuitable it'll get taken down anyways? (help the newb please )

It wouldn't hurt to ask the staff via PM first. You can ask this in the, Quick Questions thread located here http://www.metalstorm.ee/forum/topic.php?topic_id=9889 too. As long as the topic doesn't openly alienate, mock, or look down upon any ethnicity, religion, or idea and is open minded I'd say your good to go But, just to be safe, you should ask.
