Alcest has never released any real full length album but the French band is already cult. After a split and a demo, Neige (the main man of the combo and? only musician) found a deal with the famous German label Prophecy to release his first album, "Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde". Written by Roman Doez on 24.02.2024 at 23:12 I would normally recommend you other Alcest albums that are a bit more black metal like Écailles De Lune and specially the EP Le Secret. But if your reaction to this album was that negative I doubt it would change your opinion tbh.  In any case, perhaps test Le Secret (the original version, not the re-recorded one). At the point Alcest was still more of a black metal act.
