the best prog band is OPETH for sure... but there are an other great band that is respect so much and that is GREEN CARNATION. the first album of them which i listen to was Light of Day, Day of Darkness.

Well, my favorite bands within the Progressive Metal genera would be Queensrÿche and Symphony X, I really like Queensrÿches early age, especially Op:Mindcrime and Empire, And I like Symphony X's because of their own Romeo, god hes just the second best guitar player in the world.
I've only got one of their albums, V: New Mythology Suite, but I'll surly buy all of their albums later on.
Do know that Adiago is great, David Readman is just the best, haven't been able to find any of their album, haven't found one in the store or online.
One band that I also really like within the Progressive Metal Genera would be Masterplan, they are absolutely stunning, but I don't like their new singer so I couldn't put em up on my favorite list, any way even though I don't like their new singer I've thier latest album, but for you who doesn't have Masterplan's album called "Aeronautics", I would say, go and buy it right away, you can't really do anything else but love it.

Lets cut the text and bring up the thing that matters: Fav prog band is Queensrÿche and Symphony X, want some Adiago albums and love Masterplan's Aeronautics album.

Yeah, I always took D.E.P. as Technical Hardcore (Mathcore) and Mastodon as more Groove Metal. Perhaps he means they have progressive tendencies? But obviously they aren't in league with your usual Prog.
