I'd post more but someone's always faster than me when it comes to tabs I recognize. Like with the recent Moonsorrow tab, I recognized that in a matter of seconds but of course someone had already posted the answer. And the other times it turns out to be a band I know almost nothing about. Just like it is with the current tab. I'll try to visit this thread more often from now on.

Well, from my side, what has happened? Too many riffs from bands I don't have the slightest interest for. Also, since I don't like picking a random tab but prefer coming up with riffs I actually play on my guitar. And since I'm mostly playing my own riffs...

I like that thread but since I don't want to guess without posting a new riff, I prefer not guessing...

About my tab:
it's from album that has been released 2 times. At first it was like demo and the next one after some years it was re-released.

So it's from Herbstleyd? I don't know what the song is.

Well I tried but once again it did not work... I am computer illiterate and therefore you cannot expect me to know how to do something that is not clearly written out (see opening post).. but I did fix it...

I assume you're using windows, so here's one way to do it:
1. Open up notepad.
2. Change the font to some monospace font, fonts called "fixedsys" and "courier new" are good for this (monospace fonts have the same length for every character, thus making all characters line up on every row).
3. Write the tab inside notepad.
4. Copy the finished tab.
5. Then, paste the tab inside your post like this:

<font=Courier New>
Paste the tab here
</font>

6. Replace all < and > characters with [ and ] to make the code function.
7. That's it. It will look weird in the message box because the font in it is not monospace, but will have the correct layout in the actual post if you did everything right.


I hope this cleared it up a bit.

P.S. I have no clue about the song in question.
