Static-X - Shadow Zone

I think that destroy all isnt that bad it could be better though (lyrically)

This and Wisconsin death trip are my favorite albums.

I consider this and "machine" their best efforts. Liked the second part of the album and especially "07. The Only", "09. All In Wait", "11. So", "13. Invincible".

This is an awesome album! Only recently got into this band but this is my favorite so far. My only real gripe is the album is relatively short.

My Hightlights: Shadow Zone, Kill Your Idols, All In Wait

Not much had really changed in their style from their debut to this, which for me means it's not a bad album, if anything maybe this one had more of an industrial effect, but the riff pattern is not much different, there was enough groovy elements to it, but it does start to get a wee tedious after a while, and by this point their songwriting had started to become catchier and more mainstream which on this occasion wasn't a bad thing imo, as there was some good quality stand out moments such as "The Only", "Kill Your Idols" and "All In Wait" being the main highlights for me.

By this stage Static X had proven to me that they were the more consistent band than both Korn and Slipknot.
