Really looking forward to this, should be a solid EP, the at the gates cover should be pretty interesting as well

Great EP!! One of the best EPs i ever heard, and also great Fleshgod Apocalyspe material. I give it without problem 10/10.

Intense. Although the title track is a waste of time. All these classical piano, etc. parts in death metal just annoy me.

Thats Really good Technical Death , has less Brutal parameter than a perfect Brutal Death but songs are beautiful in their own way . i waited for their next full album. oracle was a good one too

First time Ive heard these guys! This is really good!!!!!

Just DAMN!!!! The drums alone are awesome and are some of the best drum work since Behemoth's "Demigod". Within the 1st 2 seconds of "through our Scars" almost made me shit my pants in anticipation and strange sense of terror. It's just so rare I feel to hear fast drums that are also interesting. Everything else is pretty good as well. the only thing which holds this EP back is the Blinded by Fear Cover. It fits in with the everything else, but the drums just don't feel like it belongs in the song. Mafia, too is pretty awesome. I'm REALLY looking forward to where their going to go with their sound in the future.

This is a motherfucking nuclear weapon of an album......ABSOLUTELY AWESTRUCK !!!!!

I prefer this over their debut album...

Yes, it's an AMAZING song. Not many Death Metal songs tend to have that ability to get fully stuck in ur head for days. But this one ?? Oh boy...I even bathroom sing to this song at times !!!

My one complaint is that the drumming, though amazing, is too loud.

Really? In my opinion that's the most outstanding thing about this release! I love drums that are high in the mix (when the drumming is this good, anyway).

Might have something to do with my piece of shit speakers. Volvo speakers + gateway laptop speakers = disgraceful.

It's a possibility - I have extra bass headphones with an additional subwoofer, so it sounds pretty good by my ears.

I think I'll probably buy nice headphones before I buy nice speakers. My roommates hate the music I put on. Even Clutch(!) plays too fast for them.

This. The guitars are too low and the drums are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high. Hoping for better production on the next album, and also more varied drumming. Anyways, still a great EP.

Great but not masterpiece (i dont like that much as thru our scars and conspiracy of silence the other 2 songs -abyssal and mafia)...

I would like to note that the cover of 'Blinded By Fear' is absolutely amazing to me... A really cool cover of perhaps my favourite song. But what I find interesting is that where many metal covers seem out of place, or just an homage to an influential band, this one fits right in with the theme of the album, and is no afterthought! I loved the more brutal, drum-driven version here, in fact this cover was one song which convinced me to check out more 'brutal', 'technical' bands by presenting a song i loved in a different light!

I really haven't discovered the words to discribe it yet...Still searching...

I'm a sucker for blastbeats, but something about the drums just doesn't sound right. Especially on the At The Gates cover, they just sound really out of place there.

"Thru Our Scars" captivated me & I've been obsessed with them ever since.
Like yourself, 10/10. Easily.
