They played the whole of seasons in the abyss and the gig was stopped for 20 minutes for a paramedic to take some guy out on a stretcher.

i was at deathfest, i don't remember that, but then again i was pretty drunk.

Haha, you must have been. They had to stop for 15-20 minutes or so while the paramedics got down to the bottom and managed to pick him up. Can't remember if they put him on a stretcher or just walked him out though.

Although it was bad to stop the gig for 20 mins or so (and of course bad for someone to be hurt and taken for hospital), I was thrilled to see Tom Araya so much concerned and worried about the poor guy. I am used to seeing him singing about blood and death but there he showed a very sensitive side
Anyway, the gig was very good but nothing to be compared with last year. First of all, the supporting bands were far better: Amon Amarth, Mastodon, and Trivium; compared with The Haunted, who did not "haunt" me at all! Also I think Slayer that gig played better.
