Couldn't agree more! It should be up there with "Bonded By Blood", "Show No Mercy", etc. as one of the all time classic thrash debuts.

Exactly right, now they have omega wave, a perfect comeback album

It is, believe me, when i bought the album, i've listened to it 4 times in 24 hours! I only do it with 2 albuns, this one and the new Mastodon, The Hunter! Love both!

This album obviously deserves "classic" status.

The vocals are questionable at times, but overall a brilliant thrash album, it borders on being progressive which makes it even more appealing.

Yeah its great... but when Eyes of glass comes on I find myself wishing every songs was in that style...its just a notch above the rest

Remember seeing this band back at BOA in 2010/2011 (Don't know exactly which year it was), but haven't actually heard any of the band's albums in full until now. This, their debut album, is a really strong thrash record, and really powerful to say it's the first for Forbidden. The vocals I found a little underwhelming on some songs, but the musicianship is really quite brilliant for the most part. Highlights for me would be "Forbidden Evil", "Feel No Pain" and the closing "Follow Me".

Falls short as whole, although the first half of the album is really good.

1th time I heard it I had same impression .

Great old-school Thrash piece this. Should indeed be considered a classic.
I have had a lot of fun spinning this one again recently.
There are no dull moments to find for me, though the closing track falls a bit off par here I think.
Highlights: hard to pick, certainly the title track.

Would easily be a 9/10 if not for a relatively weak flip side. Remains essential.

The songwriting is great, the riffs are awesome and the production is solid as a ball of rock, but I think few minor flaws drag it down, namely the vocals which are mostly fine but get very annoying and cheesy when trying to hit higher notes. That and some less good parts that stand out from otherwise kickass songs, like the chorus of "Chalice of Blood" which sounds anything but climatic and powerful.

The vocals are more than fine, I've heard much, much worse in thrash.

One in the top of great thrash debut releases. It's a phenemonal record. Vocals may put you off.

One of first non TV or radio bands I heard in my youth days, friend gave me that album, did listen then few times, now I wanna go back
I like it , singer has funny vocals, party mood, IMO should be re recodet.

I wonder what secret council met and decided that thrash metal would be the genre with the WORST vocals of any genre in music.

Just a Trash Metal Masterpiece.
