Well all that you need to do is hear the name of the band and you know that you are in for something totally ridiculous. Yes, Anal Cunt is quite infamous for their lack of musical talent and black comedy-themed songwriting, and with that being said, there is no other album quite as offensive, morbid, shocking, or just overall screwed up as this album here.
So let's start with the performance, of which there is not much that is needed to be said. The performance is intended to sound like garbage so all that you will hear mostly consists of random guitar riffs mixed in with lots of blast-beat drumming. However, you definitely are going to have to give Seth Putnam a lot of credit for how outrageous his screaming is on this album compared to every other previous effort. Seth has outdone his screaming capabilities on this album beyond comprehension.
Now for songwriting, this album is mainly narrowed down to the singer again. After all, the guitar is mostly randomness. The drums are all pretty much fast-paced with many blast beats that are fit into it. Anyway the lyrics are impressively terrible, if that makes any sense. The lyrics have to be the most offensive material that Seth Putnam has ever came up with. Take for example the lyrics for "I Made Your Kid Get A.I.D.S. So You Can Watch It Die":
"A few years ago, I snuck Freddy Mercury into your son's room
I gave him anesthesia so he'd never remember getting raped
You spent your life savings putting your kid through college
Then he died of AIDS, so you wasted your money for nothing"
As for originality, this band is able to be the worst thing ever, so you have to give them credit since it's something that nobody else has really tried doing. But what makes this album so original compared to all of the other ones? All of their earlier stuff was mostly noise-based and the band was gradually starting to make more song-based music. This album completely turned that around and surely surprised everyone.
And finally, production-wise it's just awful. The sound is awful, at least Everyone Should Be Killed was somewhat tolerable with the sound. But what can you really expect at this point with how much this band could really take seriously? The production of the album is sort of mixed too much like Top 40 Hits was with how some of the noised-based tracks have a different sound than the song-based tracks.
Overall, this is probably one of my favorite CDs now because it's practically a comic relief. This album can't be taken seriously and is probably not for everyone unless they can understand the sense of humor that this album has. I would definitely recommend checking it out, though, because it will definitely be at least worth hearing.
