O father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name?

Naw, I'm not going to start with that, and neither is August Burns Red, of this I'm extremely grateful, for that would most likely ruin the great album they've got set up here. Soaring leads, strong breakdowns, yup, Thrill Seeker has it all.

You first enter this album with the insanely technical "Your Little Suburbia is in Ruins". Seriously people, this is like taking your average band and giving them some caffeine and steroids. The song is full of crazy solos, tremolo picking, and time signature changes? pretty much the entire deal.

And then it happens again.

Then you enter the next song, even more technical wizardry

And then it happens again and well if you haven't caught on, it happens seven more times before the album ends. That craziness and technical mastery however, isn't out of hand like say Brain Drill, it is controlled chaos, yes the music is full of riffs and magical playing, but you can still follow along, you are not being overwhelmed by the wankery.

The music isn't the only technical thing here; no, the voice of Jake Luhrs is up there, too. He covers the highs and lows of doing vocals for a metalcore band? literally. He can cover low growls, mid-pitched screams and even the highest of the highs. His voice complements the music quite well.

But don't forget about the breakdowns guys! They're the best part! Okay, they may not be the best part, but I love them to death, and I'm sure you will too, they aren't overused, or even out of place. Check the song "A shot Below The Belt" and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Overall, this is probably the band's strongest effort; it has everything and then some. Also, sorry for using the word "Technical" so much, I even looked in a thesaurus and I didn't find a suitable alternative.
