05. Greed
06. Seeking No Peace
07. First Murder
08. Lie
09. While You Bleed

This is my first encounter with Eternal Legacy, and I was a bit afraid checking them out when I saw them being labeled as symphonic power metal, but if that's true then their latest offering seems like a change of musical direction. Seeking No Peace is exactly what the real metalheads are so keen for nowadays: old school, epic-ly well done thrash/heavy metal. For those who grew up listening to old Metallica, Assassin, and Testament (before Alex left for the first time) then this is a must, but it also gives me an impression that these guys are fans of Skid Row and the late thrash-era German Depressive Age even.

To be honest, the further I go on the album I could spend literally days finding out all the influences; but the thing worth mentioning here is they own it all. They play everything so masterfully that even if it sounds extremely familiar, you just can't say that "hey, this riff is totally from here", they just reinvent the vibe from the glorious days.

Sounding exactly like something from the early 90's, and this is true for the musical quality as well as the production/mixing, no song sounds like the other; they really spent time on composing. A special feature is the guy handling vocal duties totally seems like a hybrid of James Hetfield, Nick Holmes, and Chuck Billy, having great power in his voice.

This shit is not for posers, believe me metal brothers.

Personal highlights of the album: "Eyes Without A Soul", "Dielectric"

Great review man. These guys are some of my closest friends, having grown up with them and have often been their roadie. If you ever get the chance, definitely see them live! They're far better live than ever in the studio.
