Last year's album was beautiful, awesome, and varied. Very special; a top 2013 record for me. This one is... I mean... I just... I think it broke my brain! It's like he tried to fit in elements from EVERY single sub-sub-genre of metal and somehow succeeded spectacularly. It's beautiful and awesome and varied again but just SO MUCH MORE. I don't know if I love it more or less; it will be "in processing" for quite some time I'm sure.

The songwriting is alright, the production is alright, but the performance at times gets very bad. The drums and guitar seem completely out of time. Still deciding what I think though. In the end, my favourite parts of this album are the ambient passages  either that or the concept.
