Yeah that's retarded. The earliest show I've been to was a 7pm and I thought that was stupid early.

Right? Like you don't need to start at 1am to be cool, but 5 in the goddamn afternoon? How are people with lives - coincidentally the ones with an expendable income and capable of affording a show like this - supposed to show up for a 5:00 gig? Not only that, but how lame would it be watching bands like Inquisition rip your asshole out while your grandparents are getting ready for bed.

Well, you do have 5 bands playing which is a lot for a "normal" tour, and if they start that early it may have to do with curfew. During the euro tour Behemoth,CoF,Inquisition,etc.. did recently it was the same thing, doors at 5pm coz venues had to end quite early + the bands had to move on.
